Review of MOMENTS OF TRUTH by John MacArthur

John MacArthur does a great job shining through moments of Truth for us to nibble on each day. I love that he has broken up each month into themes we need to hear about. He starts with Truth as his theme and each day talks about the Sovereignty of God and what Truth means in the Bible. Each devotion is from a book that MacArthur has written. Each sliver of truth has scripture we can learn and apply in our life. Each day ends with a question to ponder. I felt it was helpful to really meditate over each Bible verse and then the question that it asked me. What was I going to do each day about that specific thing. For example, one day He asks us how will it change our perspective to know that Salvation is dependent solely on God and none from ourselves. This may seem like a no brainer to most but to sit and really think through what this entails is a great benefit. You may find as you go through this devotion that you are digging in the Bible more and more. I highly suggest this devotion, especially to those that may use a devotion such as the Daily Bread or something like this. This devotion goes into much more depth. Thanks to booksneeze for providing this book for me to give an honest review about.
