There are some books you read and want to read again and there are some books you read and like but probably would not read again and I would say The Edge of the Divine by Sandi Patti is the latter. I received the book from Book Sneeze to review and was very interested in reading it as Sandi Patti has been a prominent speaker and funny lady at the Women of Faith confereces around the country. The title alone drew me to the book especially "where opossibility meets God's faithfulness." The story reads as if Sandi is journaling her life through getting lap band surgery and the hurdles she faced and how she overcame them through God's faithfulness to her.
If you are facing the same problems in life I would think this book is a great book to read to have a sense that others feel your pain, but if you are not in this category this book is not really for you. As I read this book I really paid attention to all the messages she was getting across in relation to our relationship with God. Overall, the message of God's faithfullness even when we are wayward seem to stand out the most to me.
