I have been watching extreme couponing on TLC probably like the rest of you. I hope you know if you are doing some couponing that this view of couponing is unrealistic and I don't want you to feel as though you are not doing it right if you don't save 90%, especially in California where we can not double and triple coupons! I just don't want you to get discouraged!
My big RiteAid trips this week: There are lots of great deals this week. Some of them require buying more than one paper this sunday. I purchased (4) Burt's Bees shampoos normally $7.99 on clearance for $3.99 $5 UP+ if you buy $15 worth you also get an SCR of $5 I used $1 coupon I had from the paper my total: $14.96 (retails for $32) I got back $5 UP+ and will get back $5 SCR so OOP= $4.96 I bought (2) Pedicare cough normally $6.99 on sale for $4.99 $3 UP+ each $1 SCR I used (2) $2 coupons from coupons.com I used $1 coupon from adperks.com (Rite Aid's coupons) My total: $4.98 I got back $6 UP+ and will get back $1 SCR so OOP= FREE + $2.02 I bought (2) High Oct Energy chews $1.99 each on sale BOGO I used a BOGO coupon from their website = FREE I bought (2) Got2B Stylers on sale for $5.99 each $2 UP+ each I used (2) $1 coupons and $1 coupon from adperks =$9.98 I got back $4 UP+ So OOP=$5.98 Airwicks air freshener $2.99 BOGO I used a BOGO coupon = free
I have a few more deals to go and get like their men's Nivea deal... They are $3.99 each and in many papers there is a $3 coupon.. so .99 each plus get a $5 UP+ when you buy $15 worth. So I suggest heading out to RiteAid this week.
